Credential security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify iGurus immediately.

Users are strictly prohibited from sharing login credentials. If we determine that an account has been shared, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access. iGurus also reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the platform.

To maintain platform integrity, iGurus may require instructors to verify their identity before submitting content for publication.

Official credentials

Submission of government-issued identification documents for identity confirmation.

Authentication checks

Verification via integrated third-party identity authentication services at iGurus' discretion.

Volume oversight

Additional dynamic security checks targeted specifically at high-volume content publishers.

Failure to complete identity verification may result in restrictions on content publishing or removal of existing content pending verification.

Unless explicitly permitted by iGurus in a formal written agreement, you may not engage in the activities listed below.

Reproduction & redistribution

Reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, sublicense, or modify content in any form.

Unauthorized downloads

Download content for unauthorized distribution such as torrent directories or unvetted third-party sharing sites.

Credential sharing

Share account credentials to systematically allow others to access premium paid content without transactional purchasing.

Derivative works

Modify, translate, or create derivative works from the content without explicit written permission from iGurus.

Resale

Copy, redistribute, or resell purchased content outside the iGurus platform under any circumstances.

Any violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension or termination. iGurus reserves the right to review, modify, or remove content that violates our policies, infringes intellectual property rights, or fails to satisfy operational quality standards.

Exclusive marketplace transactional control and anti-circumvention provisions governing all content licensing on the platform.

Platform exclusivity

All content licensing must occur exclusively through the iGurus platform. No off-platform licensing is permitted.

Off-platform agreements void

Any direct license granted by an instructor to a student outside the platform is null and void and explicitly constitutes a material violation of these Terms.

Enforcement

Instructors found in violation of this circumvention policy may face immediate content removal, account suspension, or complete termination without recourse.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the billing period ends. No refunds are provided for partial usage unless required by law.

Free trials

Eligibility and duration are determined by iGurus and may be terminated at any time. Fees apply after the trial ends unless canceled beforehand.

Content availability

iGurus does not guarantee that specific content will remain available in subscription plans and retains the right to modify or terminate access at its sole discretion.

How long you can access a course after purchasing it, and how long a course stays on the platform after an instructor publishes it.

Student access window

Purchasing a course grants 365 days of full access from the date of enrollment, including all lessons, materials, and Q&A for that course.

Grace period

For 7 days after your access window ends, your enrollment and progress remain on file and you'll see a renewal prompt rather than losing your place immediately. Renewing during this window restores full access without re-purchasing.

Certificates & invoices

Certificates you've earned and invoices/receipts for your purchases remain downloadable from your account indefinitely, even after your course access window and grace period have both ended.

Klips

Klips (the short-form video feed) carry no access expiry for viewers — they remain viewable for as long as they're on the platform, subject to the hosting term below.

Course hosting term

A course remains on the platform for up to 36 months from its publish date (or its most recent substantial content refresh, whichever is later). After that, it's archived — removed from the catalog and closed to further learning, though students who already completed it keep their certificates and invoices as described above.

New-enrollment window

A course accepts new enrollments for up to 24 months from its publish date or last refresh. After that, it's marked as no longer accepting new enrollments, but students already enrolled keep their full access window uninterrupted.

Refreshing a course

When an instructor substantially updates a course and it passes re-review, the hosting term and new-enrollment window both reset from the refresh date — a course doesn't have to be retired just because time has passed.

Request window

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. Requests must be submitted directly through the Support Team via support@igurus.org.

Consumed content

Refunds will not be issued for partially consumed courses or content that has been extensively accessed.

Legal exceptions

In cases where content is disabled due to legal or policy reasons, refunds may be issued beyond the standard 14-day window.

Payment method

Refunds may be processed as credits to your iGurus account or returned to the original payment method, depending on the capabilities of the payment provider.

If iGurus determines that a user is abusing the refund policy (e.g., requesting refunds for extensively consumed content or repeatedly refunding similar content), we reserve the right to deny refund requests, restrict future refunds, or immediately suspend or terminate your account.

Klips credits (coming soon)

iGurus intends to introduce a Klips creator credit programme. When launched, students will be able to earn platform credits by creating and promoting course-related Klips. The specific credit amounts, eligibility criteria, and issuance rules will be published at the time of launch and will supersede this placeholder. Until the programme is formally announced as live, no credits are currently earnable or redeemable under this scheme.

Tax compliance

Prices displayed may include applicable taxes based on your region. iGurus complies with tax regulations, including VAT, GST, and local sales tax requirements.

Promotional codes

Promotional codes and discounts are subject to expiration and additional terms specified at issuance. Codes are non-transferable and may not be used for purchases outside the iGurus platform.

Harmful content

Generate misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content of any kind.

Data extraction

Extract platform data programmatically or scrape machine systems without authorization.

AI training

Train competing artificial intelligence networks or external language models using iGurus data or AI outputs.

Sensitive decisions

Make consequential decisions in sensitive domains including healthcare, finance, legal matters, employment, insurance, housing, education, or social welfare.

Fake accounts & fraud

Create fake accounts, write fraudulent platform reviews, or drive misleading activities of any type.

AI systems do not store or utilize personal data for external training purposes. Users can review and manage AI-driven interactions via their individual account settings.

Pre-arbitration protocols and mandatory structures for managing multi-claimant dispute workflows.

To launch an informal resolution process, a Claim Statement must include: full name, mailing address, email address, a detailed description of the dispute, and a proposed resolution including calculations for any monetary claims.

The submission of a Claim Statement pauses the applicable statute of limitations for 60 days from the date of receipt. Users should send their Claim Statements to legal@igurus.org. If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days, either party may proceed with formal claims through small claims court or arbitration.

Users may only use the iGurus platform for lawful purposes and must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. Users are fully responsible for all content they post, including reviews, questions, submissions, and course materials.

Harassment & impersonation

Harassment, impersonation, or abusive behavior toward any other user on the platform is strictly prohibited.

Platform manipulation

Exploiting platform vulnerabilities, engaging in fraudulent activities, or attempting to hack, disrupt, or manipulate the platform in any way.

IP violations

Posting content that violates intellectual property rights such as copyrighted materials or trademarked content.

Repeat violations

Repeated or severe violations of basic content guidelines will result in permanent account termination.

Repeat copyright infringers

Accounts responsible for repeated, confirmed copyright or other intellectual-property infringement will be suspended or permanently terminated, in addition to any content removal already taken.
